Kimberly Martin is a child advocate, mediator, and family services professional dedicated to helping children and families navigate complex transitions, parenting challenges, and family law matters with clarity, professionalism, and a child-centered focus.
Her work is rooted in the belief that every family is unique and that effective solutions require understanding each family’s circumstances, values, and goals. Kimberly has particular expertise serving medically intensive, neurodivergent, and special-needs children and their families, including matters involving developmental disabilities, complex medical conditions, behavioral health concerns, educational accommodations, and high-conflict parenting dynamics.

Kimberly currently serves as a GAL, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in both King and Snohomish Counties, including Family Law CASA appointments.

Professional Practice & Affiliations
Kimberly currently serves in mediation practicums with both the Snohomish County Dispute Resolution Center and Northwest Mediation Dispute Resolution Center, where she works with individuals and families to facilitate communication, resolve conflict, and develop practical agreements.
She is also a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), an interdisciplinary organization of professionals dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families involved in family court systems.

Kimberly has experience working with families from a wide range of cultural, religious, and family backgrounds, including same-sex parents, blended families, interstate parenting matters, and families navigating complex medical, developmental, and educational needs.
Her perspective is further informed by extensive international experience. During her previous career in technology and strategic partnerships, Kimberly lived in Germany and India and worked extensively throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. These experiences strengthened her ability to work across cultures, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and appreciate the many ways families approach decision-making, relationships, and conflict.

Prior to transitioning into child advocacy, mediation, and family services, Kimberly spent more than twenty-five years in executive leadership roles focused on strategic partnerships, business development, and complex negotiations.
